Whispering Horn: Boxes everywhere - a Vanity Bench and Beautiful Weather

Hi everyone!

11 days until moving day.

Lots and lots of packed boxes... and still more work to do.

But today, the furniture in the dollhouse got packed up too.

This has been quite an adventure for me so far. And if all goes as I hope it will, I will have everything packed by moving day.

Still looking for some help for my son with the furniture. I had some representatives for a new church I plan to visit locally call me to talk this evening.

They offered to help if needed.

Which was very kind of them.

I ordered a vanity bench for my little granddaughter who visits me sometimes. The room she will use at the new place has a half bathroom, and a vanity area. She was very excited to get it. She chose the color and she even put the legs on. All I did was tighten them up.

Got her a light up vanity mirror too.

This morning, I went to the local park to walk a bit. I thought I would only be able to do one full lap but I did two.

I have been eating terribly and not walking lately. Needless to say, my blood pressure is back up. I went to the grocery store on Saturday and bought a lot of better food. I'm having trouble with my digestive system as well.

Just the beginning change of my diet is making a difference already.

I will wait until midweek to check my blood pressure again.

At the park, there is a tree near the path that people decorate. At Christmas time it was so fun to come across. Today, they had decorated it for Memorial Day.

The peonies in the front yard here have been in full bloom and beautiful.

When I was a teenager, we had two bushes in the yard. They were a darker pink. Always my favorites!

Fancy tea! This is my favorite loose tea.

I bought the first watermelon of the season today. Cut half up and will deliver the other half to my little granddaughter tomorrow after work.

Not much going on for me except packing up this house and working full time. Wish I could have taken a week off but the timing is not good for that.

I am excited about the move tho.

New place is getting a remodel and I'm loving the changes.

It will remain chaos for awhile for me tho, but that's okay.

I'm just gonna keep following the daisies....
